A Little About Me
I am extremely excited to be the Computer and Technology teacher at Liberty Tech Charter School for the 2018-2019 academic year.  For the last five years of my educational career, I have been a curriculum developer where I specialized in creating animated videos and writing social studies curriculum.  I also have been creating Augmented Reality experiences that push the boundaries of traditional learning.  I am eager to show our Mavericks how they can create their very own educational video that shows their mastery of their learning.

What to Expect in My Classroom
While I do plan on teaching our Mavericks about new and creative ways to use technology to enhance their instruction, I also plan on teaching students how to think through problems and see how technology can aid them.  I also plan to follow the curriculum provided by Common Sense Education to teach our students how to be responsible digital citizenships.  This curriculum outlines how to protect yourself within the digital world, and I believe that it will become a cornerstone of the K-5 instruction.  Click here to learn more about the curriculum!

Online Class Community
At the top of the page, you will find the Twitter and Instagram accounts for my classroom.  These social media venues will provide you and your students (if you allow them to have social media access) with articles that I find from Common Sense that have valuable information.   I will also use these pages to push out some quick updates, shout outs, or just give students praise!

Parent and Student Resources
As we cover important information in class, I will update this section to include links to articles and other information that I want you all to be aware of.

We are Mavericks, facing the future with the goal of changing the world.
