Beyond the textbook. So much more than a textbook and worksheets, the Liberty Tech approach of constructivism allows students to construct their understanding of the world by reflecting on authentic learning experiences. While still maintaining a commitment to the Georgia Standards of Excellence, this approach forgoes a one-size-fits-all mentality and allows teachers to design specific learning opportunities for individual students. A Liberty Tech classroom is Active, Reflective, Collaborative, Inquiry-Based, and Personalized.

Project-Based
Project-Based Learning (PBL) prepares students for academic, personal, and career success, and readies young people to rise to the challenges of their lives and the world they will inherit.
Students work on themed projects over the course of a trimester of study, where they engage in real-world problems and critical thinking. At the end of the trimester they demonstrate their knowledge through the development of displays and presentations. |
STEAM Integration
STEAM is an educational concept that combines the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math into an integrated approach. “The goal is to foster the true innovation that comes with combining the mind of a scientist or technologist with that of an artist or designer.”
STEAM at Liberty Tech is seen through our project-based learning model, our STEAM day lab, and our 1-to-1 technology initiative. |
Classical Methodologies
Classical education has two simple goals: teach students to be virtuous and teach them how to think, not what to think.
At Liberty Tech our classical methodologies include a focus on our four cardinal virtues, the chronological teaching of history, the integration across subject areas, and the commitment to the grammar trivium. |
Exhibition Nights
Exhibition Night is a magical event at Liberty Tech!Three times a year toward the end of each trimester where our school opens its doors to students, parents, and the community. During these incredible evenings parents and community members are led by student docents through exhibits of projects created throughout the trimester.
While attending an Exhibition Night, you may experience student presentations and performances, watch students re-enact important moments in history, help conduct science experiments, and much more. Visitors never know what they might be in store for and the night is an exciting adventure for everyone.
