Liberty Tech Governing Board
Liberty Tech's Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that the academic program of Liberty Tech Charter School is successful, that the school’s program and operation are faithful to the terms of its charter, and that the school is a viable organization.
Liberty Tech's Board of Directors meets on the fourth Monday of every month. Meetings occur at 7pm in the school conference room. During the state COVID19 shutdown all meetings will be held via teleconference. Meeting agenda with teleconference information can be found under the Board Meeting Agendas tab. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. The public may sign up for comment beginning 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.
The committees of the Liberty Tech Governing Board are each chaired by a member of the Governing Board. The committees and their respective responsibilities are listed below as follows:

Academic Excellence Committee
Works with the school’s principal to define academic excellence, ensure that all Board members understand the charter promises made to the community and the authorizer, and devise clear and consistent measures to monitor these goals. The Academic Committee is chaired by Todd Levin.

Committee Meets: 3rd Tuesday Each Month, 12noon

Works with the school’s principal and business manager to create the annual budget, monitors implementation of approved budget on a regular basis and recommends proposed budget revisions. This committee also recommends policies for management of Liberty Tech's assets. The Finance Committee is chaired by Esther Goss.

Raises funds to meet the budgetary needs of Liberty Tech. The Development Committee is chaired by Andrea Ferguson.

Committee Meets: 4th Monday Each Month, 6:00pm
Responsible for matters pertaining to Board recruitment, nomination, orientation, training, and evaluation of Board members in accordance with the bylaws and policies and practices approved by the Board. The Governance Committee is chaired by Kenneth Hamner.
