Adopted CurriculumsPer our charter and honoring our school’s mission with fidelity, we make an effort to not subscribe ourselves to curriculums that would not allow us to continue to embrace PBL. For us to grow in this foundational aspect of our pedagogical practice and provide students with genuine PBL opportunities, we must be flexible, iterative, and creative. Many of the resources that we use to create these learning opportunities are supplemental or created “in-house” by our teachers.

Please contact Gina Tonnis at [email protected] to request this information. Child Find Notice In accordance with IDEA regulations, the Liberty Tech Charter school seeks to ensure that all disabled students (ages 3-21) who are in need of special education within its district are identified, located, and evaluated, including those attending private school and home school. Final identification of students with disabilities and programming for such students occurs only after an appropriate evaluation and a determination by a placement team. Once it is determined that a student is in need of special education services, they may continue to receive these services through the end of the semester in which they turn 22 years of age. If the "child find" process indicates that a student may require special education and supportive services in order to benefit from regular education, the student shall be referred to the Placement Team to determine the student's eligibility for special education services. If you know a child with a disability that is not being served, please notify: Special Education Coordinator: Deborah Kendrew 119 Price Road Brooks, GA 30205 770-461-0005 [email protected] Education of Children & Youth In Housing Transitions
